Nice spacious rooms with a lively ambiance. If you're into live music and a vibrant atmosphere, the place certainly delivers.
The room felt a bit worn down, with noticeable rust marks in the shower and lumpy pillows. Being right above the pub, that strong cooking smell wafts up, and the noise from karaoke and live music kept the party going until 1 AM, which might not suit everyone. It's a fun spot, but if you're looking for a quiet retreat, it’s something to consider. The kitchen appeared to be in constant use, making me hesitant to store anything in there.

A Wonderful Family Retreat
We enjoyed 4 lovely nights in a spacious family room. The weather was perfect, although the room was a touch warm. The kids loved the nearby beach, and we appreciated the pub’s lively atmosphere during evening hours. Pro tip, explore local dining options for great meals during the day!

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the separate entrance for residents provided added convenience. Despite the location being close to the bustling town centre, the noise levels remained surprisingly low, with only the charming sounds of baby seagulls occasionally breaking the silence. The warm welcome from staff made me feel at home, although the limited dining options in the immediate vicinity could be improved.

Request a room on a higher floor if you prefer a quieter stay away from pub noise.

The room I stayed in was comfortable, making for a restful night. The location is ideal, a short walk from both the train station and the town center. It was fantastic to have a separate entrance that allowed access without going through the busy pub area. The host, John, was really welcoming, and he gave me helpful tips on local attractions. The Wifi was reliable, which was great for planning my walking routes. I had one issue with the bathroom. it was quite small and noisy when using the shower, but it was manageable for a solo traveler like myself. The upstairs area could use a bit of tidying up, but overall, my experience was positive, and I felt I got good value for money.

Family with children a great time!
So, we stayed here for two nights and the owner John was very accommodating, like seriously, helped us with our luggage and gave us the best local tips, priceless man. our room was super clean and had this cozy vibe, plus, it was just a short walk to the beach, very handy with kids.
It wasn't budget-friendly but you know what, for the experience it was okay.

I stayed in a Double Room with Private Bathroom for 2 nights. The bed was really comfy, which was a highlight. The room was super clean, and I appreciated the private bathroom. It felt cozy and perfect for a solo traveler. No noise issues at all, and it was nice to have a quiet spot to unwind after exploring. John the owner was friendly too.

The outdoor area upstairs offers potential for relaxation, especially with loungers available for sunny weather. Surprisingly, karaoke evenings didn't disrupt the peace, allowing for uninterrupted enjoyment during my stay.
Limited parking can be a hassle. I had to park at Asda and walk 10 minutes after check-in, which might not suit everyone’s preference. The en suite bathroom felt cramped, and while I managed, it might be too small for others, especially if you’re not traveling light. The upstairs outdoor area could use a tidy-up since it looked a bit neglected during my visit.
